stumped with no-start...
well my ca still won't start i checked my security light and tested 3 diffrent ones in there and they don't come on when i insert the key.
also i bypassed the vats with a resistor and it still does not let the security light come on. now the fuel pump does not buzz either so i don't know what to do.
i had the battery tested and it is good, the starter was tested and i replaced the solenoid. also i used a voltmeter and they got juice. i tested the clutch switch and it has juice. so why doesn't the vats security light come on when i put the key in? should i pull the vats module out and try bypassing it from there? i know it is some where above the radio right. but my car is already torn apart and will take me 1 week to put back together!!! but oh well i have to have this thing running soon because my wife needs to go out of town this week...

well i can't seem to get the aldl to go into diagnostic mode as well!!!! maybe the ecu is screwed???... or i did not have the right thing pluged in. the haynes crap book shows it to be the 2 upper right plugs as the a and b... but that connector is labeled. the connector on mine is not also i don't know if i have the right connector mine seems to be at the base of the column in the middle??? is this right and if so i tried running a wire between the top 2 left ones and i got no lights on the dash???

well good news and bad i got the car running but without my fuse in the gauge spot... it won't run at all with the fuse plugged in but cranks ok without it. but it runs reeeeeeeal rough and it kept dying yesterday its wierd ... it also is showing that it is running at 260 degrees 5 mins after starting but... its real cold out side plus i turned the car off and i have a purge valve on my radiator cap so i purged it and no air seeped out... and then i removed the cap and nothing the antifreeze was fine. wasn't hardly even hot. the engine also felt normal to the touch...
it sputtered pretty bad a couple of times last night and the fuel shot out the xtreme lid twice...??? any ideas? i checked all the plug wires and they are good...

see thats the funny thing the securrity light comes on now but my rpms andtemp and oil pressure are dead since the fuse is out... but the car runs like poop!!!! we think it may be bad plug wires my buddy got a good hit to his shoulder while leaning over the distributor!!! they must have got damaged when i moved them out of the way of the headers???...
i also changed the plugs so maybe that has something to do with it. also i put a straight pipe on it instead of the cat. along with a new o2 sensor. whatz weirder is that after about 8 mins of driving it smooths out alot but if i stomp it it hesitated and stumbles pretty bad??? well any ideas?

so i am hoping its the prom and not the ecm itself...???
