Car trouble, Please help

car wont start.

Turns over normally, just wont start up. Did it to me last night but i sat around for like half hour and then it started.. well I drove it to work this morning, and its been sitting for like 5 hours and wont start... I know this isnt real specific but Im not sure what to check or what to put so if u need to ask questions go ahead.. appreciate any help i can get.

I have checked spark, and have spark. I dont see fuel coming out of the injectors and I don't hear the fuel pump(althought I dont know if I ever did) when I turn the key to on, I checked the inside fuse panel and all is well... whats my next step?

it still cranks, but it won't run? If it didn't crank i'd say it was starter heat soak, but if it's cranking and your not getting any fuel out of the injectors, i'd take a look at them and the fuel pump, i don't have fuel injection so i don't know if they should be spraying or not, but that'd be the first two things i checked.

TM,

You have cranking, so all you need to verify is fuel and spark. Since you have a TBI, cheking fuel delivery is easy. Remove the air cleaner cover and have an assistant crank the engine while you observe the injectors. You should see an intermittent spray from each injector. If you don't have an assistant, get a paper towel or napking and place a small piece of it under each injector. Crank the engine briefly and check the paper for fuel. DON'T open the throttle while doing this, or you'll lose your test papers!

Checking spark involves removing a spark plug or the coil wire, holding it near a good engine ground, and cranking the engine to monitor for spark. One of these two checks should get you closer to the problem.

Thanks Vader, but actually if you read above I checked spark and fuel from the injectors, to no avail. I have good spark, but no fuel... beginning to worry that it may be the pump but I would like to know for SURE before I get into a $400 project.
