I am 16 and i just bought an 86 Camaro Berlinetta. I am the top student in my auto class so my teacher said that i could rebuild my motor in class as a side project because i am learning everything so quickly. I was wondering who makes the best rebuild kit for my motor. keep in mind that i am 16 so i am on a limited budget but i do want a good gasket set.

 

try northern auto parts they have a great deal on a stock 350 rebuild and i cant remember off hand of the 305 but...it should be around the same as the 350, 150$ish
