Octane booster Q's???????

Common octane boosters only raise octane by some .3 right?
Buying 87 octane and dumping a can of booster in only raises it to 87.3?

Just curious, how much are you paying for gas in your area?

dont know about the booster, but we are paying about $1.69 for87 and 1.80 for 92
