Aftermarket or NOS Belt Tensioner

My belt tensioner has a crack where the breaker bar is supposed to fit in. I need a replacement but I can't find any on thirdgenresource. Does anyone know where I can get them?

Try your local junkyard.

good plan. as soon as the snow goes away
I should ask, is there anyway to use the belt tensioner without a breaker bar? I won't be able to use that to get it loose since it's broken off.

At the top of the tensioner there is an opening for a 1/2 inch ratchet. Use this to pull the tensioner up. Hope this helped.

that's the part that's damaged. Methinks the idiot who changed the alternator when the previous owner had it broke that thing! it looks like this basically

Sorry I did not know where it was broke off at. Take a crow bar and slide it under the pully. Use the bracket as the axis.

No. I was talking about geting the whole pass side bracket. I would think you could get it for 50 bucks or less.

if you dont wanna spend any money you could get a nice thick washer with a 1/2 inch square opening and tack weld it in and paint it.
