Cut off switch
ok i know that there are a few proplr on here that have cut off switches to kill ohh stuff so no one can start the car and steal it, well i have an 1983 Z28 with a carb and no electricals, i was wondering what i could do to put on of these in,
could i cut the wires to the starter and wire in new ones that run to a switch inside the car then back to the wires and to the starter or something of that sort.
just really can i have a listing of stuff i could do so i could choose one or two or four to put in.
thanks

yeah you can splice a switch to the fuel pump, starter, ignition, ecm, or just about anything that controls the engine or eletriconics. micro switch on ask tray, hidden toggle switch, or a combination of switches would work. if you're worried about theft in a gm car or truck have the bright lites on. when they punch the column to start it they'll disable the dimmer switch linkage and every cop in th world knows a gm with high beams on might be a stolen car.
