i asked the same thing a while back and found out its normal. 10 psi for every 1,000 rpm is just fine.

it could be the oil pump, but i doubt it, the stock guages in our cars arent exactly the most acurate things in the world either, so you might want to consider that. Did you change the weight of the oil before it went down?

no i always used the same oil , castrol 10w40 and fram filter , the engine has no knocks or noises on startup so its maybe the gauge i hope , i just bought headers, dual cat setup and 3 inch exsaust system and i have been worry all day about this

i really wouldnt worry about it. 20 psi at idle is more than fine. Mine only idles at 15 psi at idle when warmed up and goes up to about 45 to 50 at full throttle. If you really wanna find out hook an aftermarket guage up to it, but most likely everything is fine. By the way, post your gains when you install the whole exhaust

don't worry about it, you don't have a problem. if you want to better know what you have screw a mechanical gauge into the block. the factory set up isn't very accurate or reliable. 10psi per 1000 rpm is good oil preasure.
