Should I buy this camaro?????
Should I buy this camaro?????
I know someone selling an 87 Camaro (2.8 MPFI) w/ 5spd for $200. Couple of dents in front fenders, rust on rear qtr, engine looks like it needs some help to start. OTher than that, goos shape. I just pulled my 305 TBI out of my RS. It needs a home. Since the TBI is all screwed up anyway and computer will be still sitting in my RS, I will put a stock intake and a rebuilt Holley 650 on the 305. Is it worth it knowing that the front suspension may need upgraded, tranny bolt up?, etc. My RS is my toy, this is just a fling to do a quick setup and sell. Do you think that this is a good plan?????

It won't bolt to the bell housing. So it's not quite that simple. Not impossible by any means, but not quite as simple as you would probably like it to be.
Considering how little a base-model Camaro with a swapped-in base-model engine is worth, it's probably an enormous amount of maze with very, very little cheese (if any) at the end. I doubt you would even cover the costs, much less pay yourself for your labor, and you're even less likely to actually make a profit.
I would advise against it unless your own time is worth absolutely nothing to you.
