I'm going to assume you're talking about stock heads too.
No.
The adjustment nuts are too tall. Some aftermarket heads have the VC rails built up high enough that they will clear the nuts.
And, some roller rockers (the better ones usually) are too wide for the thing the bolt goes through to fit between them. Although, I've heard it's possible sometimes to adjust the width of that to where it will fit.
And you will have the same problem with the oil baffle for the PCV.

I have 1.6 Crane Gold RRs with stock centerbolt valve covers on AFR 190 heads and they fit. Not sure if there is a clearance difference because of my heads though as RB83L69 mentioned.

Those Cranes are the same as the GMs... I don't have any way of knowing this of course, but I suspect that the main reason GM sourced Crane for those instead of something sensible (steel) like the Comps, is because they fit, but the good ones don't.

allright, iv'e got stock heads and covers, and comp pro magnum 1.6's. I only had to trim a little of the interior sheetmetal bracing on the valve cover, justt look under as you put the cover on, and you will see where to trim it. no biggie.

Birdman7389....Man am I glad to hear that! I just sold my comp magnums, and bought a set of the promagnums. Still waiting on the ups guy
I used proform (crap) and comp magnums with my centerbolt covers and they fit fine. I like the quality of the factory covers over the aftermarket stuff.
This was with Trickflow heads like RB mentioned the cover rails have been raised though for extra clearance.

The GM copmosite valve covers work perfect, but they are a bit pricey. They also keep down the valve train noise so any knock retard should be elimatied.
