Roller Rockers - Valve Springs

I'm finally getting around to that last series of mods I wanted to do to my 185,000 mile 350 powered GTA before beginning an engine rebuild (spare motor). Currently I'm adding headers, and a cutout. After that I was planning on Pro Magnum Roller Rockers 1.6 ratios from Comp. What risk am I taking running using the stock Valve Springs?

stock springs are trash and if they have any age to them they're even bigger trash. if you're building a replacement engine i wouldn't bother with swapping rockers or springs now. the gain will be slight and most likely unnoticable on a stock engine. if you want to swap springs go with a set from comp or lunati for cam with a lift in the .46 range and buy retainers to match the springs and trash the factory rotator set up.
