Is this the cold-start switch?
This was located in the front of the intake manifold. I had thought that it was a temperature sending unit, but everyone seems to say that it's for the cold-start injector. Is this true?
Cold start problem
I have cold start problem in my '87 GTA.
How could I check that cold start control? Or should I buy new unit?
When the air temperature is below zero, the engine doesn't start.
When the engine is hot or air temperature isn't below zero, the engine (L98) starts fine. I think that's very mysterious problem...
Is there any units that is should check?

Ilku, probably your best bet would be to post a new topic with that question or do a search on the cold-start equipment. This thread was intended to identify a component.
Unfortunately, I never spent the time to learn indepth how the cold-start system works.
