Did I possibly damage anything? [Engine Break-in]

I was driving home from work today and some guy ran a stop sign. I was already in the intersection so I didn't slam on the brakes, but I DID practically go to WOT for a second. I didn't want to lose my GTA to an accident only 3 days after I got it on the road!

Now normally this wouldn't be an issue, BUT i'm still in the first 100 miles of engine break in! Its a remanned L98 long block. Is there a chance I damaged my engine? Or shortened its life?

I'm new to the whole engine break in deal because I"ve never had a new engine before. Is there a chance that I shortened the life of my engine? Or am I ok.

if your car is running alright you should be fine.... but if you're really that worried maybe changing the oil would make you feel better lol?

I'm just worried about my poor baby! *wails* I really can't take any chances with this engine right now. If it goes, I'm SOL and I'll probably have to sell the car to pay my dad off. My dad is the one who bailed me out when I found out it was a cracked block, and not a blown head gasket. Otherwise I've put the money into the car by myself.

I'm so hurt for money my mom is going to pay me to paint the eves of her house for $300. Money I REALLY need. Just bought new shocks and struts for the car. KYB GR-2's up front, and KYB Gas-adjust shocks in back. Maybe they'll get here by the weekend so I can take it up to my uncles and use his LIFT to put them on. I'll probably do the brake pads, inspect the entire front end, shocks, and ball joints while its up there. I figure I'll just pay him $30 bucks for his time, and the use of his lift.

My uncle just installed a hydraulic car lift in his garage!!! WooHOO!! I'm going to him for ALL my suspension needs! No more jacking for me!

Well, the engine is still running fine. 9d1burd and I are planning to get our heads together and figure out what the hell is wrong with my electrical this Sunday. Still not confirmed, but I really need help figuring this out.

Sleep tight man, most of the people I know brake lose a couple of times on a new motor.
It's more about the cam then anything, & if you have a roller cam sleep extra tight, cause your fine.
