Clearence Problem

I am just wondering if anybody can tell me if I will have enough clearence from my air cleaner to the hood? We put an Edelbroke Performer intake on it and its pretty close to stock but the problem is that I only have the standard Firebird hood not the Cowl that I might end up converting mine to. Can anybody out there tell me from there own experience or whatever if I will have enough clearence?

The Performer (NOT RPM) is about the same height as stock. It will fit. Even the stock setup comes pretty close to the hood in a Bird.

Ya I wasn't too sure because we aren't going to be using the original air cleaner setup, we decided to try and find a open air cleaner setup that is not too big and might work but I don't suppose you knw what size of air cleaner would give me the right clearence?
