Build Sheet location

I was wondering where the build sheet is located. I've heard it is sometimes found under the carpet. Can someone shed a little light on this for me.
Thanks

Thanks

All cars should have had build sheets. It tells the line workers what interior color, options, etc. to install on the vehicle. I think mine was either under the rear seat, or under the carpet behind the driver seat.

I don't think there's any set place to put 'em. I buddy of mine has been restoring
cars for years, and has found them in all kinds of places... under the carpet,
in the doors, tucked into the springs of seats... he's even found one on top of a gas tank.
