600cfm performer carb and performer intake
A long way off

A Performer RPM and a Holley 750 will get you closer

a 600 would choke it off that much? my 283 isn't a long way off from an lt1, my brother has a 97 z28 and its getting pretty close. its not quite there but with a 350 and bigger cam i would think it would be pretty close.

edit: just thought i'd write a little more.
my brother and a friend came down a while ago before i got the intake(has a stock intake with an adapter), headers, and a 3x14" from the 2x10" air filter. they said it was in the high 200s comparing it to his 97 z28.
