LT4 Hot Cam (NOT)

I found a company that makes a copy of the lt4 hot cam. here are the specs of the hot cam

LT4 - 218/228 dur .525/.525 lift 112 lobe sep.

Here is the copy of the cam

COPY-218/228 dur .525/.525 lift 109 lobe sep

im thinking on getting the cam with the narrower lobe sep.
ne1 have an idea if it will run better?

i have used a flat tappet before, crane 100082. now the 100082 is a 226/226 @ .050 with a .470 lift @ 106 lobe seperation. Now this wasnt supossed to idle, but it did. didnt even die once in a year. it was in a 305 tpi all stock except ported heads. the only mod i did was an 89 vette chip. now, i had the car dynoed with the stock cam and the peak HP was at 155 HP @ 3900 rpms. with the 3.73 gears it pulled hard till 3900, then droped on its face. With that crane cam, it idled in park @ 6 inches of vacuum 600 rpm. very lopey the car pulled to 5500 plus. the thing i noticed with that cam was it pulled 11 grams of air per second threw mass air meter, where the stock cam was 6 grams. both readings were @ 600 rpm's. the car did spin the tires even with the big cam,but it took off better. the track times for each cam was 15.7 @ 88 mph with stock cam and vette chip, 3.73 gears. 14.64 @ 95 MPH with the bigger cam and 3.73 gears and vette chip. stock cam i shifted @ 4500 and the bigger cam i shifted @ 5200. The car would not idle at all with the 305 chip, however, it did start right up with the vette chip. now i havent tried the narrow lobe seperation cam on a 350 engine yet. I have used this cam in 4 engines already. the reason im thinking on that lt4 cam copy is that its 80 dallars new. speed shops told me this cam would never work in a fuel injected car, but it idled in gear without even acting like it was going to die.
