454 header ?

i know hooker sells the super comp big block headers for third gens but i was wondering if regular shorty big block headers would fit too. if i go this route i will modify the car for dual exhuast.

Only if you have a big block chevy in your car... Small block and big block engines are totally different, and the headers wont fit each other. However, headers for any size small block in a 3rd gen with fit any other size small block too.

I am pretty sure they don't fit. I played with a block hugger set of unknown brand and it didn't fit. They aren't a bad starting place though for making your own set. It gives you all the flanges and some of the pipe you will need. Then you can just adjust them and change them around a little to clear the frames and exit some place convient. Compared to a make-it-yourself header set it is much cheaper.

Hello badride5 it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks. Why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?
I dug this oldie up... If you have not found your answer over the years...Check this out:

Im sure they could be hacked up to fit or just buy the headers that are already made to fit a BB in the f-body!

That "sled" looks sick! I wish we had snow in Alabama... Well, at least for a few weeks.
