This recent investment of a 91 TBI 305 camaro has began to become a regular problem. I purchased the car with 69,000 miles and got a good deal cause of the body was not real straight. But the car has a major lack of power it will not accelerate well nor will it climb hills on interstates without losing major speed I can approach a hill at 70 mph and the car will be doing good if I am going 40 mph time I reach the top. I have replaced everything in the ignition system {wires,plugs,coil,module in the distributor, distributor cap and rotor,fuel pump and filter} the car has no noticable blow by. It also seems to hold good compression.

sounds like a tranny on its way out (assuming its a 700R4)
