Car: '89 IROC-Z
Engine: Canfield 195 headed 358ci
Transmission: TH350, Art Carr 9.5"
Axle/Gears: 3.92 Dana 44
Predictions with my new setup?
- 355ci, 9.6:1 compression
- AFR 195 heads (not bought yet but on the soon-to-purchase list)
- Crane Powermax hydraulic nitrous cam: 238/246 @ 050, .480/.495 lift w/ 1.5 rockers, 112lsa (will run 1.6 rockers)
- Victor Jr intake, 750cfm Speed Demon
- Hooker long tubes 1 3/4", dual 2 1/2" exhaust.
- Full MSD ignition
- TH700R4 w/ 3500RPM stall
- 3.92 gears, 28" tall slicks
- Car weighs about 3300lbs with me.
- 175-200HP shot of nitrous.
What kind of times do you think this could get? I'm aiming more towards a better nitrous ET than on motor. Anything you would improve upon?

I would get a cam with more lift. The AFRs are going to get peak flow around .5 and still have great flow at .6 lift. I haven't delt with spray ever so Im coming from a na standpoint I guess.
