ok, ...car SITLL goes glug glug after i shut it off, and start it again....new theory here....starter is hanging up or not dis-engaging after it starts?? make sense/?? or impossible???

 

Well your theory is easy to check if your right, just see if the pinion gear (starter) is like stuck on the ring gear (flywheel). But another suggestion, is the hot start problem, that you can find in the technical articles section...

What could be happening is your starter solenoid gets hot from your engine, and then stops functioning. So you install a ford mustang starter solenoid somewhere else, and solve the problem for a long time. Good luck.

 

no the engine turns over, ...it just runs like crap afterwards.....is this apart of the solenoid problem????????
