Edelbrock manifold probs

Do milled heads cause manifold alignment probs? My manifold (2104) won't line up where I can get all the bolts in...I'm using a Fel Pro 1205 gasket. I don't want to have to scrape RTV off the china walls again, any suggestions???

Yes, they can. Think about it. Lowering the head separates the manifold from the head, causing the bolt holes to become lower relative to the manifold. I'm no expert on this situation. Elongate the bolt holes, perhaps?

The shaving is so minimal tho. You shouldnt notice that big of a difference with .010" shaved off. I could be wrong tho.
