What is this weird clicking

Sometimes my car makes this really weird and loud clicking. Yet its only sometimes, it feels like it only happens after my car starts up funny. The clicking is very audible, coming from under the center dash (like where the AC is), and if i floor it, the clicking will go away. Could this be a start to a big problem? Maybe an incorrectly installed fuel pump?

could you clarify that a little bit? You said your car starts up funny, what do you mean by that?

It either starts up perfect, and then there is no clicking. Or, it takes like 5 tries. On these tries, it kicks around a little bit, but wont start. And on the last of these tries, it will kick in really hard. For some reason, I think it is something to do with the air flow, not the starter. I'm going to change the filters, and see if that helps at all. This may be unrelated, but my car has been stalling out when stopping for a light or slow turn. And the engine is making like an air-hissing noise. I think that my car isn't getting enough air, so I'm gonna fiddle around with that.

Your car is Carb? It just hit me.... check the choke and see if it is malfunctioning... If the choke is sticking or sticky, it's very likely that you will have the problems you just described.

As for the clicking, you said it goes away when you floor it, does it come back after the engine revs down?

Yeah it's a carb. I just bought a new air filter and breather, and seems to have solved that problem (hopefully) and since hasn't clicked. I'm hoping that the problem is over, but since the clicking was highly erratic I can't be sure for a couple days. And when I did get the car in high rpms and brought it down, the click was still there.

Ok, seems good then.. I would still clean the carb out, and check that choke. Check your spark plugs and wires. You could have one loose. If you have one that's getting bumped loose every now and again, that could be the reason you are having the "funny" starts, and that click as well. I know it sounds strange, but the car will idle fairly decently if one cylinder is not firing, or barely firing.
