1.6 rockers with Magnum 280H cam kit?
1.6 rockers with Magnum 280H cam kit?
I have a set of 1.6 RR SA (3/8" stud) that will fit on my heads. They were originally bought for my LT1 before it had a date with the guardrail.
Question is, will the valve springs that come from comp cams in the Magnum 280H kit coilbind on 1.6 rockers? What's the max lift for those springs...
And will they fit under side-bolt stock valve covers?
Thanks

Probably not because they should be SA rockers, if you have older then 86-87 heads you need non-SA rockers.
What is the lift of the cam?
As long as you don’t have vortech heads you should be all right.
The 1.6-1 " rockers will give you a bit more lift on your valve witch can be a very good thing. And if there roller rockers your looking at a easy 10 free hp.
