Yep, there's a trick or two. And since I'm not a magician, I'll reveal them-

Hard Way: Hold the pillar cover against the top of the roof, and try to "slide" the cover back onto the clips. This way sucks, right?

Easy Way: Carefully use an awl/icepick/centerpunch etc to pry the white plastic clips out of the roof. I say be careful because these clips are very brittle from years & years of cooking in the sun's heat. Go slow and use as little force as you have to.

Now slide the white roof clips onto the a-pillar cover. Now snap the a-pillar cover back into the roof.

Your best bet would be to replace those clips, once they heat up like that and become brittle they are just as likely to break off the little barbs when you put them back in no matter how careful you are. They are like 45 cents at the dealer, although they are sometimes hard to find, the dealer I went through had to order mine.

Figured it out after trying the sliding idea...
Me and a buddy worked on it for at least an hour.
Pain in da butt.
We finally tryed to take the clips out of the holes, this was a pain in itself, but it sure made it a lot easier to get the pillars back on!
Thanks for the help. Job done!
