HEI Problems
OK, I've posted a few times before about having problems with my HEI module. I finally figured out that the module itself isn't going bad, but just unplugging it causes something to reset. When it went out on me today I tried just unplugging one of the wiring harnesses that go to it to try and narrow down the problem. It ends up that I only have to unplug the two wire connector that goes to the coil to reset it. Could my problem just simply be a bad coil? Or is there something else? I want to hear your opinions before I throw parts at it. Thanks

Maybe you just have some bad wiring somewhere (a short to ground or a loose connection) and when you unplug things you are actually just moving the harnesses around a little and the short goes away for a while until things move around again. Next time try just moving the wires around a little without unplugging anything and see if it goes away again. Just a thought, but definately possible.
