need help with heat range plugs

ok, i have a carb on a tpi engine. im getting alot of detonation with my bosch platinum +4's and 92 octane, so im gona ditch the +4's and try something with a colder heat range (i was told to try this). only problem is i dont know how to get a plug with a colder heat range. if i used what "would" be the recommended plugs for a 5.7L TPI would that cure my detonation? tpi heads have higher compression so i would asume a "tpi" spark plug would have a colder heat range than a non tpi 5.7L engine? if anyone knows the exact "code" i can use to get the plug's i need i would be really grateful, AC delcos seem to be the plug of choice around here, someone also mentioned rapid fires. also, please dont tell me its timeing, i know 100% its not the timeing.

ac delco plugs are numbered with r40somthing numbers.
43 being two ranges colder than a 45.
you could start out with a r43ts.
