pick a cam

hey, Im leaving for basic training in 6 months, so i want my lo3 so sound good and have a damn good idle..... but i dont want to sacrifice power and alot of gas milage...... so waht type of cam should i get? Ive got some headers and flowmasters... so all i need now is the lopy idle, give me some ideas...... go cheap too if you can

Axle/Gears: 342

Not sure of the idle, but the LT1 cam seems to be popular for LO3s and cheap too.
