Help with SES
Hey guys,
I'm kind of in a jam... I know this sounds strange, but here goes.
Every now and then, the Check Engine Light blinks on an off. But it'll only blink once or twice (sometimes I don't even notice it.) I've put the pin in the ALDL but I only get code 12 over and over and over again. Also, i brought it to a shop last week, and their scanner couldn't find anything.
I've pretty much noticed that it usually happens after going over some bumps, which makes me think it may be a bad connection somewhere with one of those many sensors my car has.
Also, sometimes it happens after a hard acceleration or something like that, where i start from either 20 mph or stopped. is it possible i could have another seperate issue with the tranny?

I'm taking a wild guess here but I think the code 12 just indicates that your scanner is operational and ready to send you trouble codes that you are requesting.
If you had shorted sensors then I think the actual codes that were related to them would be stored.
