car idles loe with a/c on?
okay i have an 89 camaro i when i turn the a/c on it idles low and rough but when i shut it off the car idles perfect what can it be i have the 5.0 tbi motor help me out

I had the same problem out of my car. It didn't go away until my ECU got replaced. I am not saying that is what you need to do. Have you checked your AC belt? Or are you running serpentine? I would also check your hoses and what not.
I am not really sure how the problem got fixed in my car. I replaced a bunch of hoses and belts, then my ECU got replaced for a different problem. Then my AC worked just fine.

Mine used to do that too. The reason why you're dropping RPM is probably because the car isn't compensating for the extra load on the engine. A lot of cars will increase the idle speed slightly when the A/C is switched on. I don't have this problem anymore (pulled the A/C
