VHT Hidden Spray Nozzles

O.K. I did a search and couldn't find anything. I am kind of going for the sleeper look with my car. Want to keep stock rims and normal tires. No slicks unless at the track. Anyways, has anyone ever put spray nozzles in your rear fender wells, to spray VHT on the tires? I think it is a pretty cool idea, but not sure what to use. The only thing I can think of to use, would be a windshield washer setup (pump, spray nozzles, and liquid line). But, most of the fluid lines I've seen are rubber. I know nothing about the chemical composition of VHT, would it eat away at the rubber? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brent

i'd suspect it'd not be acceptable to any track you were at and if you were caught you'd be banned, maybe from the sanctioning body if you have a permanate number or comp licnses. why not make changes to improve tractionj instead of doing the vht spray.

I will be changing the entire suspension. And why exactly would I get banned? How is that different from a bleach box? Anyways, the VHT is not for the track. Like I said, I will have slicks on when at the track, the VHT is for racing in "other places".

By the way. With the kind of power I will be putting out, it will be hard even with ALL the suspension mods to get the car to hook up. I WILL have major traction issues imo.

unless you making more power than say the space shuttle there's a way to put it to the track, buy a rule book and read it.

Alright smartass. I am not going to backhalf and four link my ****ing car. Did you not read the part that said I am trying to keep it somewhat sleeper? I will be doing all the rear suspension work possible with the exception of back halving the car.

I have been thinking about this idea for a long time now. I was going to get the windshield sprayer and do it like you said. I have since got my car hooking a little harder now and the idea has kind of left my head. I can't remember which Car Craft it was but it was in there a few years ago. It was an article on how to make your car a sleeper. Steel Wheels, hiding NOS solenoids, and using a column shifter. One I remember was mounting the battery in the trunk but get one of those dummy batteries that are displays in the stores. They put it in the engine compartment and it didn't even weigh a pound.

I was thinking about doing it to my truck. My only concern is the nozzles clogging up after use. I have seen VHY, but I never used it before. I was afraid you would get a use of two out of it and then it would clog.

I don't think that it would clog. The reason I think that is because at the track I've seen those pump up yard sprayers being used.

Just buy tire softners.

Hot Lap comes to mind first. Makes your tire extra soft.

Why bother? If you're already sitting on the line on a deserted street and your buddy is pouring down trackbite I think its already too late for the other car to back out of the race ......and once you run for the first time EVERYONE will know how fast your car is thus ruining the "sleeperness" of it.
