Probably neither. It is more likely the installation that changed something. Make sure the IAT sensor is still connected. It may have been attached to your old air leaner.

Beyond that, you'll have to start troubleshooting from scratch. Any error codes?

MIA305,

Well that will do it. As long as the IAT is electrically connected, an little loose fit in the air cleaner isn't a problem. Your injector spray patter, however, could be a problem. You should be able to observe a regular, cone-shaped pattern from under the injectors, with no streams or drips. A poor spray pattern can be a symptom of incorrect fuel pressure or dirty injectors.

I'd start with a fuel pressure test, then go from there. You should be reading 11-13 PSIG constantly with the pump running, regardless of load.

You need to remove the fuel feed line from the throttle body and install a pressure test adapter. Many pressure test gauges come with the necessary adapter.

The adapter is a 'T' style fitting that allows fuel to flow to the TBI and provides a test fitting to attach a pressure gauge. The engine can still be operated while the pressure is tested.
