Help with 91RS No start after park
Help with 91RS No start after park
So I pulled up to a Post Office and shut the engine down like normal. I came back out and went to start the car and it wouldn't. So I went to a gas station and bought a little starting fluid which did the trick, luckily I had someone with me which could crank the car over while I was squirting. It started ok and we left. I didn't think much of it till I got back to work and then tried to leave that night and had the same problem. However this time starting fluid would not get it started. If I keep spraying the fluid in it will keep running. So it seems that my car is not getting any fuel. I checked relays and replaced them. I have unhooked the fuel line and there is no fuel coming out when we crank the motor over, is that normal? I have checked the obvious like gas and spark. I hooked up a trouble code reader and get no codes.
Help this is a 305 by the way. Bone stock other than 3" catback and open element. It is fuel injected not carbed.
I thank you all for the replies in advance.:hail:

Update.
I finally had the car towed home and when I got it back I decided to jump in it and start it. The damn thing started so I took it for a drive, and by the way I heard the fuel pump that time. I parked it when I got home and then tried it again and nothing.
So is it some short somewhere? Maybe a fuel pump wire?
