Fuel Pump Not engaging

Ok I'm at a lost as to what to do next. Went to start my car after storing it for the winter. Would not start. Found I had a bad altenator, so I had that fixed as well as a new battery.
Car would turn over ,but still wouldn't fire. Replaced the usual suspects, distributer, HEI coil, ignition module, plugs. Still nothing.
Finally I noticed that I didn't hear my fuel pump come on. Checked the fuse it was ok, replaced the relay, then checked voltage. Had 12 volts all the way to the plug that is mounted in front of the tank. Figured it must be a bad fuel pump.
Replaced it, still nothing. Read my books some more, replaced the oil pressure switch. Still nothing, I'm starting to lose my mind. I have no ideas where I should look next.
Any help anyone could give me would really be appreciated.

Wolf,

Sorry you went through all the trouble to change the pump unnecessarily.

You can test the pump and wiring by applying a 12VDC source to the large tan wire at the pump relay connector, or at the 'G' terminal on the ALDL connector inside the passenger compartment.

The uncertainty of using the ALDL is that the power must be routed through the NC contacts of the relay, so if the relay has a problem, the test may not be conslusive.

The circuit looks like this:

OOPS!

Disregard that!

that data was for an '86-'88 TPI.

Your '85 is slightly different, and feeds the power to the fuel pump on a larger RED wire at the relay, and ORANGE wire at the ALDL. However, the ALDL terminal is still 'G'. The rest of the schematic for the fuel pump is the same, but don't save the schematic for the MAF power system, since it is different on your '85 as well.
