Loss Pep After 3rd Gear

Question for you guys. I have a 1982 Camaro with a built up 350 and it pulls extremly hard from 1st to second and second to third once it is in third gear it is like it runs out of pep it accelerates but slowly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

3 rd gear

of course your car accelerates the slowest in third gear.3 rd gear is 1 to 1 ratio gear, which means no torque multiplication.
