Smog Pump Delete Pulley

Hey all. I met a guy at the Camaro/Firebird vs. Mustang day at E-town and he had removed the smog pump when he changed the motor but got a Smoh Pump Delete Pulley from GM to keep the serpentine system functional. He said that it can be ordered from any Chevy dealer and is listed in the catalog for "off road use only"

Does anyone know how I could get the part number?

Thanks

Steve

Why bother? because I do not want the extra weight in the front end or the clutter that comes with it when I have to pull the valve covers routinely to check valves on a solid roller cam. I just need the part number that GM has in their catalog that is an idler pulley that is there in place of the actual smog pump

What they are trying to tell you FASTBIRD, is that you do NOT need the Air Pump delete pully setup.

You can just run the belt in a different route, and all of your pulleys will still turn the same way.

They gave you that link to the article to save you some money.

Now, if you are talking about the A/C delete pully... That is a different matter all together....
