The challenge of the Rotor-PIC

Ok here's the problem. Yesterday I tried to remove the distributor rotor. It has no bolts or clips, so it should be pulling off easily. But it wouldn't. This thing didn't move at all! I tried with full force, even tools, I just banged my hand badly at the chassis because the rotor doesn't want to be pulled off. Below is a picture, let me know what you think... I can't break the rotor if I have no real strategy, because the car won't start then

Thanks for ideas.

The rotor on my car was stuck pretty hard too, if I remember correctly I bled quite a bit that day from my knuckles. Just keep trying at it, wiggle it, whatever, to help get it loose. It just pulls straight up, as said.

how about breakable parts? i mean, i could break the rotor to get it off, but i don't know onto what it is put on. I don't want to damage anything except that damn rotor.
