Thinking about LT-4 intake swap.....
Would it even be worth it to convert a LT-4 intake to work with my vortec heads or would it coust just as much as the TPIS mini-ram III (vortec mini-ram)?

why the swap? I've thought about this, but I think the remote thermostat looks ghetto or I'd do it. A better choice would be the ramjet intake, you can buy them without electronics or piece them together from gm. If holley would come out with a stealth ram for vortec's that would rock.
BTW, have you got the car to a dyno yet? I still want to know your #'s even if you have to pm or email me.

John, it's a great solution functionally, the remote thermostat just doesn't look very good in my opinion. If it werent for that, I'd love to do it. Ghetto was a harsh description.

I'm not too much into the "appearance" of my engine (since it can't be seen through the rear bumper
) as some of you know, so I wouldn't really get all wrapped up in that; but it would seem to me, that unless you had a whole donor motor, by the time you pieced together all the stuff to make the LT4 thing work on a motor without OptiSpark, you'll end up spending probably more money and certainly more trouble than just ordering up the MiniRam and being done with it.

How do you guys think a RamJet intake would stack up against a miniram or lt4 intake? I've thought about doing that.

Ram Jet would be cool... they come on crate 350s, so they should work on ones like ours. I've heard they are pretty sweet too....
