i've done that a few times, but not only will get annoying to you, but good chance of getting pulled over. i'd recomend calling first then driving straight there. if you get pulled over on the way, just tell the cop that's where your going and he'll probably not give you a ticket.

yeah make an appointment first and the cop can verify your story and shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah, that is a good idea..I put my slp headers on and had to go get a y-pipe made and got pulled over twice on the way there. The funny thing was, neither time was for not having exhaust, it was for not having a front liscense plate. Go figure.

About how much does it cost for a custom
y-pipe? I got hooker headers on my iroc
with dual flowmasters. way to loud and way
to low to the ground.

I had the same deal, put ****ty *** summit headers on that dump about 3 inches above the ground, had to drive open headers to the muffler shop where they charged me $200 for a custom y-pipe, and that was w/ discount cause my workplace deals with them. anyway it was very loud and i got lots of stares but i didnt encounter 1 pig the whole time, it was morning rush hour. just dont go too long like that, you dont want to burn any valves

Right on my open exhaust brothers!!!

I've been running STOCK manifolds wide open for the past 3 days (I've only driven it 2 miles ) and it's f'ing loud....I'd leave it like this forever if I wouldn't get a ticket and I wasn't getting Hooker Super Comps this week Oh well, I like it...actually it's kind of embarassing because it's so loud...
