foglight adjustment
There are two basic ways to aim the foglights. First, is the "factory" way. Second, is "my" way. I like to have the foglights "assist" the headlights in illumination. IMO the "factory" setting puts the foglight beam pattern so low that it provides little if any illumination down the road. IMO, my way is a lot easier too.
1. Wait for nightime.
2. Bring T-15 Torx bit with long-extension
driver.
3. Drive to a large,level,dark parking-lot.
4. Turn headlamps off.
5. Turn the top center Torx bolt on the
foglight assembly to adjust.
6. Clockwise to raise light beam, counter-
clockwise to lower light beam.
7. Adjust foglight beam pattern slightly
lower than the headlight beam pattern.
8. Turn foglights on while you turn the
headlights on&off to compare beam
patterns.
9. When done, walk in front of car with fogs
on to see if both foglights are parallel
to one another. If not, re-adjust.
