What color should I get it painted?

What color should I paint my car?
I have to make a decsion by morning.
Please tell me your opinions!
I was thinking either metallic silver, blue, or a dark yellow.
All other colors welcome except black(too hot) and most likely not white(looks dirty quicker)

It currently looks like this.

I'd go back with the silver, it's a whole lot less work. You can get much better looking variations of silver than the one those cars came with though. Look through paint catalogs, pick out one that strikes you. I personally like a somewhat darker variety, not just your basic aluminum powder color. Specifically there's a color of silver from Volvo that is a really sharp color.

FYI - my 83 Z28 is a medium silver, with bright (basically pure aluminum) rocker panel trim, and the factory charcoal/silver/black stripe. It has flat black headlight openings and hood "dents", and all flat black trim. It is a very pleasing combo to me.

If you want my opinion on blues, the Nassau Blue Metallic that is found on the C5s is one of the best lookin' blues I've ever seen

I think Silver would look really good on your car.

I have an 85 Z28, and I want to paint mine a nice bright metallic silver and keep the rocker panels and hood louvres black. I think it would be a killer color combo for these body styles. I think the yellow might be pretty awesome, too, though. Post pics and show it off afterwards. Late

There are four really sweet looking blues. One is the lighter metalic blue off the early 90's corvettes (like the grand sport blue) Then there is the dark metallic blue off the C5 Also the new Jeep Cherokees have an awesome dark metallic blue it is absolutly sweeet the last blue is off the 98 or 97 jeep wrangler it is like a gun metal gray/blue color that would look cool especially if your split on blue vs. silver good luck man show us some pics when your done

Hey man you should hit the junk yard for some groung effects and newer nose then get metallic blue. It would be like getting a new car for under 1000 bucks.

89,
Thanks, I like it too. Chevy had that color back in 1966, so I put it on my '66 Corvette.
It reflects back from the chrome bumpers and looks exactly like the blue waters off the coast of Nassau - jeez, what a concept - someone actually picked a descriptive name for a paint color!

How about Sebring Silver. Then possibly a pair of black Heritage stripes. Definitely get the 91-92 ground effects with the nose and rear bumper cover.

"Technically" my car's metallic blue is called "Black Sapphire Metallic". Not too shabby for a factory color!! I've only seen one other f-body around that had my color, and I haven't seen him for years. (Good!)
