Noisy IAC
When trying to set my min idle; I installed a jumper at the ALDL, and then turned ign sw to "run", which is supposed to make the IAC drive full closed.
When I went to disconnect the IAC, I noticed is was making a noise. Kinda like it was still trying to move. Gave it a couple of mins, but it continued to make noise. Is the IAC bad?
It was removed and cleaned abt a week ago.

if it still makes noise after a few seconds then id be worried. mine has always made a "eletric motor" sound when i turn off the key. it always stops after like 4sec though. if your suspicious, id go ahead and buy a new one. i mean how much are they like $15-20? say $30 at most? you cant go wrong

it will make that noise as long as the terminal is jumpered, dont sweat it. The IAC (ECM) is continously trying to extend the pintle with the jumper in place.
