I justed bought 2 Kumho Ecsta 712 (cheap), for my rear. They are z rated but my front tires are only s rated. Is this bad? What is the limit for s rated tires? Should I just buy two more, considering they were cheap?

you only need to worry about it if you are running over 100mph for an extended period of time......My opinion-I have ran cheap s rated tires up to 130mph or so without problems, But any problem at that speed is bad knews.........Safe bet-Replace them

 

S-rated tires? I wouldn't run 'em unless I had 'em on a VW. Really though. At speeds over 100, I'd be a bit leary. Do you know what happens when a blow-out occurs at speeds in the three digit range? You could end up in the middle of a heap of twisted,flaming sheetmetal.I'm sure the tires are good for doing that speed, but not for extended periods.So, it's all dependant on your driving.
