2.02/1.60 are the biggest valves Chevy put in production SBC's. The HP really depends upon what else you do (cam, induction, exhaust, porting, CR, etc.). The 1970 LT-1 that came with those heads (angle plugs) and 11:1 CR, solid cam w/~300 degrees duration, 780 Holley on a single plane aluminum intake, was rated at 360-375 HP; was barely streetable, and drank 100 octane at the rate of about 10 mpg in a no-frills 4-spd Camaro Z-28. With today's technology, you can do better than that on all counts.

57 Bel Air, my 1st car. Currently 396 .030 over, Weiand Action+, Edelbrock 1901 Q-Jet, Jacobs Omnipack, 1-3/4" headers, TH400 w/TCI Sat Night Special conv & shift kit, 3.08 10-bolt, AMSOIL syn lubes bumper-to-bumper. Best 15.1 @ 5800' Bandimere. Daily driver while Camaro was being put together.

Hey five7kid, I thought the LT-1 used the Z28 High Rise dual plane manifold?

MRZ28HO, I thought about that after I hit the "Submit" button. I think you're right.
