For almost a year. Was running perfect at the time...what should i check for? See how the rings look? rust? etc etc

Also will the intake manifold and distrib from my L03 work on a 350?

 

need more info...tbi, tpi carb????

 

Its comeing out of a z28..unknown year..and said it needed a carb and distrib.

 

wouldnt worry bout the rings,just make sure it had oil,as for the intake and dist dont see why not

sorry on another note your gonna do a basic tuneup right???plugs ,cap, rotor,wires,air filter,oil change, fuel filter should be a must

 

Of course =D I actually have a new cap and wires that i never got a chance to put on my 305...may she rest in peace =/

 

305 is a good motor,im sittin on 3 right now,just like the raw 350 power,just remember to change that fuel filter though

 

Yeah it did well with all the hell it went through. The guy i bought it from used to run it every weekend..so it was pretty much ragged out. Had really bad blow by. I think it had a hotter cam then stock in it..guess when i pull it out i'll take a look.

 

forgot to mention if your putting your tbi setup on it ya need to get 350 injectors and prom, 305 setup will run it just a little lean though
