ok well 80 miles out from san antonio to virginia my car broke down, noticably the fuel pump, so i haul it to virginia as to not risk it breaking down on the way again, which it would have. well i didnt have the tools to do anything to it so i took it to a shop, he fixed it, he took down my exhaust my axle and all thats neccesary right, well now when i turn off the car it makes a hissing sound from the fuel tank, also if i rev it a little in neutral it hisses... and also from the back right theres a terrible thunking noise, kinda like if your car has no shocks or suspension stuff back there... any one know what this guy did to my car? i cant take it back to him, because now im in north carolina...thanks

Get up under it and look at it, shouldn't be too hard to figure out either of those things. Probably not hard to fix either. Look for loose fuel lines and/or the check valve thing broken, you might try getting under it and listening when you know it's going to make the noise; and check your shock on the side that makes the noise, and tighten the hardware.

 

ooo, it might hurt to try to get under it while it makes that noise...normally coincides with moving....well the thump while it drives anyways,i was just asking if anyone had this happen, maybe they could save me some time...its hard to get it to the shop....they work weird hours... and its hard to do it on a lunch break in cammies...heh....
