I did the TB bypass this summer when I installed my miniram....what I did was just plug it off. After the install I had no heater...is the TB bypass part of the heater system?? Thanks!!

What did you plug off? Only thing to plug off is the holes on the TB Should have hose from heater valve to the Manifold. Hope you put the hose on the right outlet on the valve.
PS not part of the heating system.

350,

You need to maintain flow through those hoses, even if the flow does not route through the TB base. The hot water from the back of the head needs to recirculate to the water pump to scavenge air and steam from the end os the head. You should have installed a splice in the two hose ends to complete the job.
