ok im going to be running dart iron eagles with the 2.02/1.60 64cc 215 intake runners around 9.8:1 compression.in a 383, 700r4 tranny and 3.42:1 rear what cam would everyone suggest????? reminder this is a dailey driver:confised:
I chose the Lunati Bracket master cam. Its 292 adv., 230 @.050 and .480 lift. Perfect for a torquey daily driver, and still has that lopey idle you'll love. Responds well.............

You don't indicate what intake (or converter stall) you are running but you should consider the Comp Extreme rollers. like

The Dart heads have good flow in the .5 range. You might consider the milder cam with 1.6 rockers. Ultradyne (<A HREF="http://www.ultradyne.com/hydraulic_rollers.htm" TARGET=_blank> http://www.ultradyne.com/hydraulic_rollers.htm),</A> camotion and Crower also have some real nice hyd roller designs.

in that case you should try to find a cam that has about 214 to 220 degrees intake duration at 050 and at least a 112 lobe separation angle. And considering these cams will not have a whole lot of lift, you might consider 1.6's.
This will be a pretty stout cam for a TBI combination. I am not sure what will be involved with obtaining a correctly programmed chip but it will certainly need one.

Try the Comp 268 extreme energy cam. The Goodwrench motor achieved 408 hp with vortec heads and 1.6 roller rockers. A 2000 stall would probably work with this cam.
