Car throwing code 32

EGR - Exhaust - Gas Recirculation..

Um, yeah. This is French to me!

After I replaced 3/4 MAF relays I pulled the battery cables to reset the codes, hooked it back up and got a code 32.

What are common signs of a bad EGR?

1 more thing I plead to you:

Can someone post pictures of where ALL the MAF/Fan relays are? I know there is 4, I only seen 3.... except a relay to the passenger side under the hood with a different poart # on it.

I'd start by reconnecting the vacuum line you knocked off while replacing the relays.

The circular thing in the middle of the intake manifold under the plenum is the egr valve. It has a vacuum line running off of it to a little diverter box mounted next to the distributor.

If you just started getting a code 32, I'm sure you knocked that line off.

there was a vaccum hose that was off ... bu it apparently burst at the end from use. Cut the bad portion off and fit it back on.

Same problem. yay.

Here are the relays:

Here is the EGR solenoid:

Does your '32' set immediately when you start the engine, or only after a cruise at part throttle/light load? Clear the codes and find out.

I was wrong, it tosses the code 32 after driving it for a bit. I checked the codes, and now I'm getting a code 33. Argh.

A '33' is generally the result of a misadjusted TPS (too low) or missing distributor reference pulses.
