SBC casting numbers- need info about the block etc...

hey guys, as some of you know, i have a chance to buy an already built and brokin motor for my car. here are all the casting numbers for it:

front of block- V0710TPD

Back of Block-

14093638

GM5.7LG
SGI
F299

Head number- 333882

Also, about the accesories. the heads only have acces. bolt holes on the drivers side of the motor. not the pass. is there brackets that i can get to mount all the accesories? like power steering, alt and ac?

and where can i get them? i was hoping to transfer my current acces. but that is not gonna happen it looks like. also, if you could let me know if it is a one piece seal and a 4 bolt main, that would be good too! thanx guys- i was kinda disappointed... wasnt what i thought it was.

From www.mortec.com .......

14093638...350...87-95...2 or 4 bolt main...Roller or flat tappet cam, one-piece rear seal.

333882...74-80 350/400, 76cc

These heads are off an earlier motor so they should have 3 acc. bolt holes on one side and 1 on the other.

This would mean that you will have 3 bolt holes on the drivers side and 1 on the pass. side head.

This could be a good block, if its a roller.

The heads are nothing special.

anyhow, we'll see, the accesory bolt hole is on the back of the head on the pass side.. there are three on the drivers side....

There should be one bolt hole (for the alt pivot bolt) on the pass. side.

As far as valve size I belive they are 1.94/1.50

Thats wierd.....I have 2 sets of "882" casting heads in my garage and they both have all the acc. bolt holes. Hmmmm.

This may be a stupid question but are both heads the same casting numbers??

All the heads up through the late 80s, if they had any bolt holes at all, had one hole in one end and 3 in the other. When installed there will be one at the right front and left rear, and 3 at the left front and right rear.

Those heads are not very good regardless of what size valves they have in them. They came with 1.94 intakes. All through the 70s and early 80s, people who had them got beat by people who had less money in theirs and smaller cams and such, but better heads. One of the worst combos was those heads and dome pistons; looks good on paper, but just doesn't run. They were the ones that came on such enviable powerhouses as the 165 HP 350s from about 74 to 79.
