Well over a year ago i bought a car from a Junkyard in Rowlett texas through this website. I paid him for the car, and i paid to have it shipped here to Wisconsin. The deal was he needed to get the title because he bought it from an auction, and that when he got it, he would send it to me. He keeps telling me he sent it, and nothing shows up. I even sent him a self addressed stamped envelope. I know he's lied to me because he's told me he sent out the SASE, and then a week later after i called him, he says he's still got it and he'll send it out today. I'm just sick of dealing with him and i want my title. What can i do?

Or maybe is there a way to check to see if he ever got the title in the first place. Like maybe check to see who's name is currently on the title??

Check with your DMV, maybe you can get a salvage title being it was bought at auction, otherwise get legal help..I hope you had some sorta contract.

 

Who sold the car to this guy? If you can find out, then you may be able to lose the guy from the yard and deal directly with the old owner.
